Michael P. McDermott, M.D.
Dr. McDermott is a graduate of University of Michigan
Medical School. He obtained his B.S. and M.S.
undergraduate degrees from Michigan State University.
He completed his internship and residency in
Orthopedic Surgery at the Grand Rapids Orthopedic
Surgery Residency Program, Grand Rapids, MI. He is
board eligible with the American Academy of
Orthopedic Surgeons. He has authored a number of
publications and research papers. Additionally, he is a
member of the Michigan Orthopedic Surgery Society.
Dr. McDermott provides care in general orthopedics
and has extensive experience in arthroscopic surgery,
fracture care and total joint replacement. Dr. McDermott
began practice in 2006.
Dr. McDermott is married with three children. He enjoys
golfing, skiing, running and spending time with his
children.
