Dr. Detrisac obtained his medical degree from the
University of Michigan.  He also received his B.S. in
Chemical Engineering and his M.S. in Bio-engineering
from the University of Michigan.  He is a member of the
American Medical Association, Michigan Orthopedic
Society, Michigan State Medical Society, Arthroscopy
Association of North America, American Academy of
Orthopedic Surgeons, and the Ingham County Medical
Society.  He was president of the Michigan Orthopedic
Society and remains on the Legislative Committee.  He
formerly represented Michigan as the State Medical
American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons Michigan
Board of Councilors and was on State Societies
Committee.  Dr. Detrisac was Co-Chairman of the
Department of Surgery at Ingham Regional Medical
Center for a decade.  He is an Assistant Clinical
Professor in the Department of Surgery, Michigan State
University.  Dr. Detrisac is board certified in Orthopedic
Surgery and has a special interest in arthroscopic
shoulder surgery.  He has extensive experience in
arthroscopy of all joints and total shoulder replacements.
 He also has experience in interpreting bone density
measurements.  Dr. Detrisac began practicing in 1982.  
He normally performs surgery at Ingham Regional
Medical Center, Genesis Surgical Center and Michigan
Surgical Center.

Dr. Detrisac is married with three children.
